In general, if we want to understand the replacement time of diesel generator sets accurately, we need to know some methods. There are two ways to distinguish the replacement of engine oil:
1. Use two glass test tubes with a diameter of 0.5 centimeters and a length of 20 centimeters, respectively, to fill with 19 centimeters of new engine oil and used engine oil. After sealing, invert the two tubes together and record the time when the bubbles rise. If the difference between the two exceeds 20%, it indicates that the viscosity of the used engine oil has decreased too much and should be replaced.
2. Compare one drop of new engine oil and one drop of used engine oil on a white filter paper. If there are many black spots in the used oil droplets, it indicates that the engine oil has not deteriorated and should not be replaced; If the engine oil is black brown in color, it is a transformation and should be replaced.
The replacement of generator oil can ensure the stable operation of the generator set, which also extends the service life of the generator set to a certain extent.
