Everyone knows that a diesel generator set is composed of a diesel engine, a generator, and a generator control system. Some manufacturers of diesel engines come with matching water tanks, while others do not. Therefore, when we diesel generator manufacturers produce diesel generator sets, we inevitably need to pay attention to selecting the correct water tank radiator.
1. Regularly inspect and maintain the Fengfa diesel generator. Seriously maintain and upkeep, regularly check and adjust valve clearance, fuel injection pressure, fuel supply time, etc., and promptly eliminate scale and dirt on the cooling water jacket.
2. Regularly remove some minerals or impurities that settle at the bottom of the diesel generator fuel tank after use. If not cleaned regularly, it will affect the normal operation of the plunger and fuel injector, causing inaccurate fuel supply time, uneven fuel supply, poor fuel atomization and other phenomena, resulting in an increase in fuel volume.
3. Maintain a certain water temperature during use. The cooling water temperature of the diesel generator is maintained at around 45-65 degrees Celsius. If the water temperature is too low, it will cause incomplete combustion of diesel and increase the load on the machine itself. Cooling water should not be abused with sewage, turbid water, or rainwater.
4. Do not overload the diesel generator during operation. Overloading operation causes a significant portion of diesel to turn into black smoke, failing to fully utilize its potential, resulting in increased fuel consumption and shortened service life of related components.
5. Timely remove carbon deposits from diesel generators. During the operation of a diesel generator, the combustion process generates high temperatures in the relevant components, causing the ash carbon polymer to adhere to the valves, valve seats, fuel injectors, piston tops, and other areas. Failure to clean them in a timely manner will increase fuel consumption and seriously affect the normal operation of the generator.
